I have always wanted to visit Glen Echo Park but never thought I would actually take the time to go there, unless of course it was for a wedding. I ALMOST shot a wedding there this year, but it didn’t work out. Several of my friends have shot weddings there and I would swoon over the pictures, promising myself that one day I would take a visit there. Well my sweet friend Naomi messaged me on Facebook and said, hey! we should go to Glen Echo because she two was swooning over the pictures my friends took. Yay for people who take pretty pictures and make us swoon. So Naomi and I planned a little day trip to the park and it was absolutely beautiful out! And of course I brought my camera to take some pictures of my pretty friend.
It was so fun hanging out with Naomi, she and I have been friends for like ever. We’ve been through alot, from wearing matching horse t-shirts (don’t ask) to traveling across the world, being camp counselors together and sharing a ton of laughs. I’m so thankful for my friend, even though we don’t go to the same church anymore or see each other all the time, we still make sure we get together and catch up.
Here are a few of my favorites!
I’m pretty sure this is the MOST hated telephone pole by photographers…
Such a fun nostalgic place…
POP-corn, get it?
love these…
Hello Gorgeous!

Note the train sign![]()
I think these two might be my favorites!
or this one![]()
ok and then I really love this one..See, Naomi is so easy to photograph!
This is the classy Nom face
I love it
Anytime anyone is with Naomi and there is a camera, there will be jumping pictures. It’s Naomi’s signature photo, so of course we had to get some jumping shots. It was quite an interesting set up..my camera was on a porch so I’d focus the camera on Naomi, set the timer and run beside her. We had to watch the light on the front of the camera and then jump at the appropriate time . Needless to say we had several failed attempts. And I know the photo’s are overexposed, oh well, I’ll let it slide this time![]()
