Happy Friday!

It’s Friday and I’m quite glad it’s here. I’m taking half the day off to go outside and paint our Adirondack chairs. It’s been so nice out and we’re trying to spruce up out backyard a bit. Last fall we had a white privacy fence installed and as soon as it was finished it got cold out, so we weren’t able to enjoy the backyard much. Now that spring is here we want to make sure we take full advantage of the fence and make our back yard an oasis. So that’s why I’m going to do some painting back there! Perhaps I’ll do a before and after blog post.

These pictures have nothing to do with my backyard or Adirondack chairs, but every time I see them I chuckle. Piper has gotten a little tubby over the winter so we’ve been taking her to my in-laws creek property for exercise. Joe throws the ball and Piper books it, sometimes not even watching where the ball goes, she’s just so excited to be out there. After 10 or 15 minutes Piper is exhausted, panting excessively but she’s still smiling. I tried to get a few pictures of Piper with Daddy (yes, we refer to ourselves as Mommy or Daddy, don’t judge). Piper wasn’t too thrilled to be in the photo’s so she needed a little tug.
