our hallway and office! It’s so crazy when inspiration smacks you in the face. It smacked, ran over and drugged us this past weekend. Joe and I had decided that we were going to actually take a weekend off and have zero plans. Well mid afternoon on Saturday he came upstairs and asked if I’ve given any thought to making the sunroom our office, (we were going to use an extra room upstairs for that) but I loved that idea and had been thinking about it too. And it was already painted, yellow! So we’ve been scrambling to find cute stuff to fill the office, it’s so fun

The inspiration for the blue came from the latest Pottery Barn magazine, I saw the color, asked Joe what he thought of it, he liked it, so off to Lowes he went to get a sample, this was all at 8:30 Saturday night by the way. We loved the sample and decided to paint the hallway. I was ready to start that night but my smart husband talked me out of that. He’s actually been doing all the painting, he rocks!
We bought our house last year, renovated the kitchen and bathroom(it was built in 1928) and have slooowly been doing other projects around the house, it’s fun, alot of work and I HIGHLY recommend doing house projects with your spouse
